Hey, IGN has their Head2Head article up about which version (PS2, GC, or XBox) is the better one to get. Although it doesn't mean anything (I remember they said Tricky was better on XBox, but the PS2 was generally the favorable to the public), can anyone with IGN Insider look that up and tell us which version they picked? No details are needed, just which version.

How can they have X-Box ahead of PS2 on sound? There's a DTS mode that makes the sound pure digital 4-channel, so the quality of sound is dependant upon your own home theater system, not your console.

Tha Gamecube would rank last in this area for sure because it can only do 2-channel analog (one of Nintendo's big design mistakes).

Let's not also forget that a PS2 progressive scan code (hold triangle+x while booting) has been discovered, which draws the PS2 probably a lot nearer. (Unless the IGN report knew that, but I doubt it).

Regarding X-Box's higher sound rating, I wonder if the X-Box allows you to use your own soundtrack. That's one reason my friend always buys THPS for his X-Box over his PS2.

Although even if it did that would probably fall under "features", I would think.
