Well, if anyone is curious, I replaced my totaled Honda a couple weeks ago. I'm so happy with my new car, it's a blast to drive.

Outside, not the most aerodynamic car.


Big ass front bumper.


Interior is nice. Would rather have a different color but still a very roomy interior.


Gear box = Gay. Seriously, I don't why the Germans had to distance themselves from normal gearboxes. Top left reverse is so stupid, because now you accidentally put it in Reverse and 1st, meaning the car can go whenever, as opposed to accidentally putting it in 4th instead of reverse, so the car would just stall. I mean, you gotta be pretty retarded to mess it up, but I still don't like it.

The clutch is jumpy and light, I like short and heavy ones. But other than that, this car is awesome. When you go from a V4 with 120 screaming horses, to a VR6 with 175 it makes a shit load of difference.


So post your cars in the format I did. 5-6 pics max please. and nothing over 200kb (jpegs are your friend). And actual pics of your cars, don't just google it.

You have to press down on the shift lever to put it in reverse...which is also gay because I like to hold the lever with my palm down on the top. So I'm always scared of pressing it down while shifting, which would fuck my transmission up.

I'm jealous, I've always wanted a Jetta. Almost got one before I got the Saturn I had but it had been in accident and the dealer didn't want to admit to it.

Similar to yours alp I have the 01' Passat 170hp V4 turbo. This only pic I have of it at the moment but I love my car.

That V4 is puttin out 170? Must be one great stock turbocharger. My car is more powerful than the 1.8T version, but I'd rather have that model just for the turbo (up the boost on that bitch ).

It doesnt really kick in till about 20-25 mph, plus it weights more then a jetta so im sure yours would pull ahead. I was originally planning to get the 190hp Jetta GLS 04 or 05 V6 think it was also a 2L. S.O.B was like 28k though, I got the passat for a bit uner 10k.

20-25mph? It's not by speed man, it's by RPM. Why did you get an automatic car with a turbocharger?

My car was a retardedly great deal. 2001, no cosmetic or mechanical damages (literally none), and 54,000 miles for $8,200 (almost all my savings from my whole life ). The car's BB value is around 11.5-12k.

Its not just the germans, american cars and trucks do it to. It makes it easier to roll the vehicle out of a rut or when truckers back up. See, they dont have to go through all those gears to go from R to 1, or vice versa. Guess I'll get a pic up here this weekend.
