One Liner: The epitome of "Shredder" on the SSX Circuit, Mac Fraser lays back and does what he wants, when he wants, where he wants.

Bio: Mac Fraser stunned the crowds and judges with his tricks and stunts from day one; entering the first tournament, SSX World Tour, at the age of 15. Officially this shouldn’t have been allowed, as all competitors have to be 16 or older to compete. However after Mac’s display of raw talent they made an exception for him, a key to stardom he still boasts about today. Mac is a laid back guy who has always been in love with three things; snowboarding, women and music. Mac loves music so much he rides to the beat of his own personal soundtrack and performs as a DJ when not snowboarding. He’s the first into the park in the morning and last to pack it in at the end of the day with snowboarding and skateboarding alike. Over the years Mac has become the “Stunt King” of the SSX Circuit and his only real fear, though he’d never admit it, is being outshined. It has been questioned if Mac has a “thing” going on with fellow SSX competitor and trickster, Kaori Nishidake, but Mac has never answered this question directly. Mac now lives the life of a “Pro Snowboarder”; whether he’s rapping it up as a DJ, hitting it off with the ladies, hanging with his friends or tricking it out on the slopes he’s doing it all with an ear to ear smirk. A legend on the SSX Circuit he has invented more tricks than Tony Hawk and rode mroe mountains than Shaun White.

Bio: Elise has and always will be a force to be reckoned with on the SSX Circuit. Since its formation Elise has ridden across the globe with SSX and become known as the “Amazon” of the slopes. When she entered the SSX World Tour at the age of 23 she was already making three things crystal clear: she was ambitious, she was fearless and she had a cold intimidating edge to her beauty. Her key to stardom was winning a Platinum Medal in her first event, meaning she not only came first in every round but broke the track record. She successfully built and supported her snowboarding career with savvy business and an acting/ modeling career. Nothing about her is accidental; it’s a pure love for the mental stimulus of big wave surfing and powder snow riding that shows the kink in her diamond hard personality. She chooses her friends, she chooses her enemies and she chooses what to take personally. She became successful in not only using the BX style board but also the hard to master Alpine board earning her as much respect as it did envy and rivalry. Elise is a restless Canuck; if she has nothing to do she tears up everything in her path. Along with her return to yet another tournament she intends to add Free Skiing to her “list of accomplishments”. In her mind she will win because there is no other option.

One Liner: The sweet breath of fresh air amongst all the tension and rivalry on the SSX Circuit.

Bio: Back in Japan Kaori was always a skilled snowboarder with highly colourful/ creative tastes and trends. Although she was barely old enough she made it onto the SSX World Tour at the age of 16, a shy yet talented girl. Her tricks and stunts were not only death defying but also as imaginative and creative as her fashion tastes. Her key to stardom was breaking the record high score on Snowdream and still holds the title of “Queen” of that course. Since then Kaori has progressed to becoming the biggest female celebrity in the whole of Japan, possibly even Asia. She has her own clothing line, her own manga/ animation comic and cartoon as well as her own fashion show all designed by her personally. However Kaori hasn’t let fame and fortune go to her head, though more grown up than when she first entered SSX she is still girly, immature at heart and social with friends and fans alike. Her shy side has gone though and she has become a major extrovert. She has developed a taste for excitement and adventure; she loves roller coasters and intense snowboarding among other things. Kaori has always had a rivalry and possible love interest in Mac Fraser; the two are always seen trying to out trick each other, putting on firework like displays of stunts for the audience. Seeing a new rival in fellow Japan native Sid, Kaori is determined to push herself into more adventurous territory while still keeping her “golden heart” reputation. At the end of the day though Kaori believes having fun is the important thing, not winning.

One Liner: An intensely cool yet driven UK Funk Junkie.

Bio: Raised in the rough and tough streets of Brixton, Moby grew up fast and used a BMX bike to get him on the path to international recognition as an “Xtreme” athlete. He became recognised as fearless and aggressive. He took on snowboarding to broaden his extreme sports and heard about the tournament that puts the X in Xtreme Snowboarding, the SSX World Tour. Being one of the youngest to enter at 17 years old Moby rapidly displayed his skills and established a place on the circuit. Moby’s key to stardom was his legendary exploration of the Mesablanca course, though he broke a couple of fingers and ribs doing it, he rode pure rock and even snowboarded through an abandoned mine. Over the years Moby has been described as a machine, able to win and ride with an almost superhuman proficiency. Moby knows that there will always be younger and newer competitors to try and knock him off his perch but he remains cool, calculating and focused. Developing a close bond, possibly a relationship, with fellow competitor Zoe Payne, he and Zoe plan to open a bike/ coffee shop together once they finish on the SSX Circuit but for now they are rivals first and partners second. Covered in tattoos, piercings and wearing a long mop of dreadlocks that falls to his waist; Moby is a funky and fierce competitor chiselled to perfection by years of hard work. He is a man who has become obssessed not with danger nor with death but with surviving the most extreme conditions on the planet.

One Liner: Wild, sporty and street savvy, Royal Payne is an adrenaline junky and an exotic icon of independence and individuality.

Bio: Zoe “Royal” Payne has a mysterious background but from the moment she could ride a bike she became firmly entrenched in the Mountain Biking scene taking the extreme terrain riding to a whole new level. In doing this she gained international recognition with ease, where she came from… nobody knows, making her all the more popular. Taking her Xtreme Sports into frosty new territory she entered the SSX World Tour at the age of 19 and rapidly became the crowd favourite. Zoe’s key to stardom was surprisingly not any of her insane riding but instead being the first person to publicly humiliate Elise. Young, wild and extremely independent her unique style and personality has always made her stand out from the rest of the SSX Crew. Zoe has stayed the crowd favourite ever since, the “Wild Card” on the circuit. Zoe goes out of her way to stay unique; she laughs off trends and fads, preferring to mix and make her own styles, rather than follow others. She’s the puzzle men can’t help but try and figure out. The off seasons for Zoe were all about finding a balance; she took off on a series of gruelling and gnarly solo bike treks into the deepest and most treacherous jungles and across isolated mountain ranges, her only motivation was herself. Physically and mentally she is now at a level few could ever hope to understand let alone reach. Zoe has plans to run a bike/ coffee shop with Moby Jones once the SSX Circuit ends but until then she’ll ride like the one of a kind “Hell Cat” that she is.

Bio: Jean-Paul “JP” Arsenault is the son of French highly successful corporate parents. A psychiatrist would call him a man in need of some serious counselling; he has nothing and everything at the same time. JP learned most of life’s ugly lessons through experience and adopted all of them as part of his credo. With his parents never having time for their little “side-project” he has always craved attention and knows how to draw a crowd and the ladies. Acting arrogant and upper class to hide his personal problems JP literally gets by on money and looks alone. Good looking in that boy band way and devoid of any endearing qualities he epitomizes the phrase “Style over Substance”. He entered the SSX World Tour at the age of 25 and returned a year later for the Tricky World Tour. His key to stardom was being the first person to break a Mac Fraser record score, beyond that he was already famous due to his background. In the off-season JP uses his looks and money to get into anything he wants; he follows a Wakeboarding Circuit in the summer and enters break dancing competitions and sports car races year round. Having always incorporated his wakeboarding and break dancing techniques into his snowboarding JP’s stunts alone left a mark in the SSX Hall of Fame. Though returning to find himself one of the older competitors this year round JP is determined to knock Mac Fraser off his pedestal and remove his title of “Stunt King”.

One Liner: The “High Tech” loner and master of all things Alpine, Hiro pushes his gear too and beyond the limits to win at any cost.

Bio: Hiro Karamatsu is your stereotype, high tech obsessed, speed junky. From a young age Hiro was obssessed with the latest trends; the more high tech and spaced out the better. Originally from a wealthy family Hiro disconnected his ties to that life and became a loner, devoting his time and money to designing state of the art gear for the new Alpine board design that was coming into fashion. With the help of a few equally high tech crazy friends he designed his skintight suit and gear to go with his Alpine board. To test his new gear he entered the most “Xtreme” competition he heard about, the SSX World Tour. He was only 21 at the time. His key to stardom was his particular mastery of the Tokyo Megaplex both with trick score and race time. The Megaplex is seen as an insane course with more resemblance to a pinball machine than anything else. Hiro’s incredible speed and one of a kind mastery of all things on the Alpine board left a mark in the SSX Hall of Fame. Hiro has no interest in stardom, just competition, but whether he wants it or not he is one of the most famous men in Japan. Having not followed the circuit since the first tournament his return is a surprising move. Hiro sees anyone with skill on an Alpine board as a rival to him and will push his gear beyond the limits to win at any cost.

One Liner: A wild and weathered veteran of snow sports Jurgen was the established Juggernaut of the SSX Circuit.

Bio: Jurgen only participated in the first SSX tournament, SSX World Tour, at age 35. After that he retired from the circuit, satisfied with leaving a mark in their Hall of Fame. However even then Jurgen was already a rock solid veteran of winter sports and mountain life. As well as a BX snowboarder, legend for riding untracked backcountry, he was also a snowmobile racer, a cross-country skier and an ex-snow patrol member. Jurgen entered the tournament to finish his competitive career with a bang and prove himself to be the equal of the young and new talent. By far the oldest and most experienced, surrounded by racers in their teens and early twenties, Jurgen was a silent and intimidating opponent who rarely spoke a word of English.

One Liner: A schizophrenic lunatic who now channels his past freakish fury into becoming an icon the “Riding Master of Metal”.

Bio: Simon Stark has always been a little odd but when he rode his mountain bike off a cliff in a dare and landed on some live cables he lost it completely. Many things changed after that accident; changing his name to “Psymon” says it all. Psymon’s schizophrenic condition is unstable and his mood swings can change often and without warning. However his love for snowboarding and his ability to ride had not changed, making him a maniac on the mountains. Were it not for the fact he went to prison for causing a fight he would have joined the first SSX World Tour, instead he was forced to wait until a year later when his time was done and join the Tricky World Tour. Psymon disturbs and/or scares the other competitors and he knows it; using fear and intimidation as his primary weapons he goes to nearly any lengths to win. The only person on the SSX Circuit who respects Psymon’s desire to be insanely weird and different is Zoe Payne and thus she is his only real friend. Despite his unstable behaviour Psymon is largely talk; he likes to act far more crazy and unstable than he truly is, along with his menacing appearance though most people keep their distance anyway. Psymon returns this year round to prove he can channel his freaky fury into being a unique icon; the “Riding Master of Metal” who can pull off frightening tricks and survive insane routes down courses unlike any other competitor.

One Liner: The “Exotic Sunrise” of the SSX Circuit, Marisol is the sacrilicious beauty who has incorporated her dancing and wind surfing into her boarding.

Bio: One word best describes Marisol, sacrilicious; she is that sacrilegious/ delicious mix of innocence and raw sexuality. She loves to surf, party, dance and flirt the night away. She is the type of girl who would never intentionally hurt anyone; her goal in life is to have fun and live life to the fullest. While disliking rudeness and violence in general she has a volatile temper that she struggles to keep under control. JP introduced her to SSX, he was, at the time, her boyfriend but they soon after had a falling out. She joined the second tournament, SSX Tricky World Tour, at the age of 18 and used the Alpine board. Much of her skill on the slopes comes from her talent as a dancer and skill as a wind surfer. Her beauty and grace served her well on the SSX Circuit but caused her not to be taken too seriously by her opponents. Marisol left after the tournament to continue her life of partying and spend time with her family. However she has returned to the SSX Circuit this year now using both BX and Alpine type board. She intends to win, have fun and use the money for the poor people of South America all in one dive.

Hey DM where are you getting your information from? I do like the idea but there are some flaws on Marisol's, her riding partner is Seeiah as far as I know she's never met Nate, her favourite course is Elysium Alps not Mesablanca as that is where she met and lost J.P, she also states on her profile that Zoe is "also a very good friend" rather than a rival.

sorry, first i should say that seeiah, eddie, jurgen, luther and marty are not officially part of the circuit anymore so although i have done their bios they are not noted on anyone elses (notice eddie isn't mentioned as Elise's riding partner either). this is set around the time of a "fictional" fourth tournament (two years after SSX 3 n everyone is in it even Felix n Maya) so all the characters would have met each other. as for the favorite course thing yes u r right my bad, i will correct that. rival doesn't mean enemy it just means...friendly rivalry. it's only negative if the character is also in the enemy list, make sense?

One Liner: The “Zen Master” of the SSX Circuit Brodi carves snow and ice for the same reason he rides waves; to him it is the embodiment of spiritual focus.

Bio: At first glance Brodi is your stereotypical surfer dude but he is actually a highly deep and complex individual. He comes across as laid back and spiritual but actually works very hard to keep fit. With his natural good looks and winning personality, girls want to be with him and guys want to be him. Brodi is no dummy either; he has a master’s degree in Marine Science from Cal State Monterey. The spiritual side of Brodi manifests in his love for the ocean and the surf. To him surfing is sacred; he feels closest to nature when surfing the waves of Earth’s various oceans or carving its frozen form, snow. As an environmental activist Brodi sees pollution as a crime against Mother Nature but he is no extremist, he merely fights his hardest to oppose this injustice. At the end of the day Brodi’s life is about kicking back with his bro’s and maintaining a healthy balance between mind, body and soul. Brodi entered the SSX Tricky World Tour at the age of 29 and has now returned this year round. He primarily uses the board most attuned to his surfing style, the Alpine board but now also uses the BX style board. Aside from his love for snowboarding he has returned so that his winnings can be given to environmental activist groups and help stop pollution.

Bio: Griff Simmons has talent far beyond his years; he first joined SSX at the third tournament at Big Mountain. He was only 13 at the time but the incredible skills he displayed instantly secured him a place on the circuit as the next generation phenomenon. This broke Mac Fraser’s record as “youngest competitor” instantly giving Griff a rival whether he liked it or not. This alone was his key to stardom. Griff is a heroic icon to the younger generation of SSX fans and although Griff would gladly ride all day every day without pay and fans to please, he’s happy to have the support. There are very few pictures of Griff from Big Mountain that are in focus as the mixture of excitement, energy and sugar kept the kid in an almost permanent state of vibration. Although Griff has returned this year round a little more mature and a little less high on sugar, the kid is still highly giddy and it is as contagious amongst the other competitors as ever, bringing a smile to even Elise’s lips. However Griff has a serious side too, he is highly competitive and confident in that “Fearless Child” way.

Bio: With famous parents working as high-level ski instructors, Swedish born Viggo has lived in nearly every major ski resort in the world. He learned how to both ski and snowboard from scratch, mountain hopping from resort to resort regularly to keep his skills on edge. Long before joining SSX, Viggo was internationally famous. Throughout it all Viggo grew into a happy-go-lucky beacon of mischief, tomfoolery and daredevilry. He took a primary focus on snowboarding though because, to him, it is the ultimate celebration of everything good in life. Viggo means no harm but unintentionally leaves behind him destroyed furniture, hefty tabs/ bills and demented guys who can’t stop their girlfriends from falling all over the oblivious- to-it-all Viggo. He first joined SSX at the third tournament at Big Mountain. Viggo’s key to stardom was, and still is, holding the record for the biggest air in Europe. He proved his skill in this area by taking the gold in all Big Air events on Big Mountain. Viggo returns this year round two years older but otherwise the same old flirtatious ladies guy. He is determined to prove himself to Allegra Sauvagess who rejected his advances in the third tournament.

Ok I understand, I know then in that case that it's all your opinion, but I don't mind it's nice to see your take on it; so far it's characteristic, but you might want to include everyone, especially since Eddie will be coming back and it makes it more canon. (I don't know if you know this term, it's a fiction term meaning it ties in with the story making no plot holes)

Bio: Haling from the urban world of San Francisco, Allegra first joined SSX at the third tournament on Big Mountain when she was 18 years old. There she instantly began turning heads. Her key to stardom was her mastery of the Slopestyle course R&B; weaving over, under and around the rocks, through the trees and even over a railway of the insane course. Allegra is a rebel, a dream date to all skater boys and a rival to many girls. She is an icon to rebellious teenage girls everywhere though with her slightly sexist attitude towards men. Allegra lives to prove that although guys are cool to hang with and occasionally date, they will never be half as cool or superior as any chick. Allegra scoffs at training and practice, she believes in using her naturally young, fit and athletic body to win, following the motto “all me, all natural, all excellent”. Sponsors barely tolerate her and only do because of her ability to catch people’s eye for good or bad reasons. She caught the media’s attention when she took a swing at Elise Riggs and when she publicly rejected Viggo Rolig’s approaches. Once a simple tomboy content to follow along and ride with the boys she now intends to make it clear she is the “Bad Girl” of the SSX Circuit and leaves the boys behind in a cloud of powder.

Bio: Nate hales from the rocky mountains of Colorado where two things were a constant in his life: ranching and snowboarding. In the end he realized his dreams would always be about riding the slopes not farming cattle. Nate’s rise to fame wasn’t a particularly long one but it was far from easy. He earned his winter lift money each summer by bouncing in bars, logging, forest fire fighting and even doing construction work. Winters were spent following the circuit and living out of his truck. He secured himself a place in the third tournament and SSX Circuit through pure hard work and determination. Not since Jurgen Angermann had there been a rock solid rider who could carve up the backcountry like Nate. His key to stardom was his incredible shredding of Big Mountain’s untracked terrain, surviving it was one thing, making it to the bottom and managing to do an impressive display was another, Nate managed it all with ease and brushed off the snow and bits of wood like it was nothing. Despite Nate’s rock hard persona he is an all around nice guy and fair player; not a man who tolerates bad sportsmanship. Nate returns this year round for the same reason he always will, to carve it up like no one else, as he says ‘life is just better in the mountains.’

Bio: New to the SSX Circuit, Tyson is Nate’s younger brother by eight years; he grew up on a ranch back in Colorado with his brother and parents. Tyson always made it clear that he was the wild and “cut-loose” member in an already wild-hearted family. Although he has always looked up to Nate he has also always tried to impress and surpass him. Since he could ride a board he has tried to pull off better tricks and survive more death defying terrains than his brother. His formative years were spent breaking everything he owned with his stunts including his skateboard, snowboards and bike. Tyson showed his skills to the judges at the tryouts, got himself a place on the circuit and has followed his brother back to SSX. Aside from proving himself to his brother he also sees Mac Fraser’s title as “Stunt King” as a personal challenge and can’t help but be drawn to the tough tomboy Allegra.

Bio: Outside of Japan not much is known about the new comer called Sid, not even his last name. What is known is that he was a late entry to SSX; he stormed onto this years SSX scene and his skills instantly earned him a place on the circuit as one of the five new boarders. At first people were shocked by his forward demand to be part of the circuit but Sid shredded up a run and left the judges speechless. His riding was described as “surgical”; he’s the sort of guy who doesn’t talk to prove his worth, he lets his skills and odd fashion tastes do his talking. He appears to have caught the eye of both Kaori and Mac, both see him as a challenge and in Mac’s case maybe even a threat to his title. Sid’s unique taste in clothing is a cross between several trends and makes him standout greatly for a guy who seems to have no interest in making friends, aside from his attraction to Kaori. If people like Sid, he likes them but he isn’t in anything for popularity. Sid is a “funkified” philosopher, a particular kind of up and coming celebrity; most people are either fascinated by him, worship him or despise him. Sid is cold, aloof and closest to an Asian Andy Warhol; his personality is quirky and bizarre mixed with a dose of twisted.

Bio: Back in her homeland of Australia, Skye is a famous sports star but she is new to the whole SSX scene. When she came to get herself a place on the circuit she made herself known to the veterans remarkably fast. Skye loves high speeds and thus mostly uses the Alpine board design or when not competing free skis, which are both fast and manoeuvrable. She is admired for her determination, drive and focus when in competitions but her surprisingly friendly and social behaviour when relaxing in the resort between events. In the off-season Skye does a lot of sports: she surfs the beaches of Australia, sails around the coast and even to New Zealand and back. She also does triathlons to keep fit and donates most of the money to charities. Skye has a perfectly average lifestyle and has little interest in the quantities of money SSX hands out; as she said ‘I live for the thrills and adventure, the money is better off with those that need it.’

Bio: New to the SSX Circuit, Maya Nolet’s love for snowboarding comes from her rich Inuit heritage. This heritage has also helped her find an inner peace which enables her to focus her mind; letting insults and jibes wash over her head and help her pull off some death defying stunts. Maya first decided to tryout for SSX when she saw Mac Fraser training on Mt Tremblant. She loves the wilderness and backcountry of the mountains, the more remote and untracked the better. Her love for the wilderness makes her a strong environment friendly person and in the off-season she works to change the world, recently she started a program called Erase the Trace to stop littering in cities. She is a tranquil and mellow girl who loves the simple life, she finds wealthy people like JP or Viggo impossible to understand with their materialistic lifestyles. She also isn’t fond of people with “bad vibes” like Elise.

Bio: A Montrealer and new to the SSX Circuit, Felix Levesque is described as a “World Class” competitor but actually has a heart of gold underneath his very competitive nature. With his father’s successful business Felix has managed to train on some of the highest and most dangerous mountains around the world. He carries the Quebec flag with him everywhere he goes and is a huge patriot to his nation. Although he also snowboards he has a preference for free skiing. One of the primary reasons for him entering the tournament is to get better/ prove himself in snowboarding. His key to stardom was succesfully and flawlessly free skiing backward down an entire mountain. Felix is famous for being reckless though as well as more than a bit of a show off, especially in competitions and in front of ladies. He also has a crazed love for the Canadian dish called poutine.
