But anyways, I have another one. Is it possible to add an option that will force posted pictures as enclosures? On 28.8k, image-heavy threads screw me over, so if there's a way I can just look at a picture when I want to...

Not really that I know of - I'm installing a hack that will allow users to turn off sigs and avatars, so that should speed things up a little, but as far as allowing pictures as enclosures, no. You may also "turn off" images through your browser if it slows you down a ton.

Ok well then... how about something that lets me change how many posts I see per page? I'll usually click on a thread and talk to people on AIM while it loads, so I wouldn't mind it loading extra posts between clicks.

Maybe you could give us the board setting of adjusting how many threads we can see on one page at one time and how many posts we see per page if a thread? Or atleast change it from 24 posts per page to 25 cause 24 is a real odd number to have.

I'm new here (followed the SSX old hands from there SSX 3 Weekend thread at GameFaqs), so I haven't read through everything (yet), but hopefully this wasn't already mentioned elsewhere. I select subsilver (or other options) for board style in my profile, yet everything is still black and purple after I click "Submit." Am I message board-challenged? What gives? Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

There is only one skin for the board at the moment - selecting something else does nothing. Grandmort is setting up a very slick second skin sometime in the future.

What would be nice to add:

As an Avatar is only a picture (or in gondee's case a -whole- movie :heh), maybe it would be cool to add a sound-clip, like a favorite piece of music or what-not to the Avatar. You could simply add this feature by clicking on the Avatar, although I don't know how hard it would be to implement.

Is there an edit button for posts? I don't think there is, but I could just be experiencing temporary selective blindness...

Yeah, there is an edit button for your posts, but you can only edit you own. If you can't find it, look to the left and it should be next to the quote button on your posts. You can edit a post anytime, but your post will produce a message that says how many times you have edited that post and when was the last edit. That message can't be deletle. However, it won't come up if you're the last post on a thread. :D

I will start adding edits to the board in a few weeks after I have some time. Don't think I've forgotten, just haven't had much time what with work and playing SSX 3 and writing the guide and blah blah blah must stop giving this same spiel. :heh

Is it possible to have more boards? Like a general, a place where you can post about stuff that doesn't fit anywhere else, a videogame plac, a tv/movie, and a n anime/cartoon place? Sorry if this is off topic/

Probably not - we want to keep the total forums to below 5 - feel free to post topics about that stuff in General Discussion, though.

Can You add a feature where rather then Link to an avatar can you upload your own to the site. This way rather then finding a place where I can post my avatars that I have edited I can just upload it. For example check out Gamingforce Forms.

Sorry, no. :no If you want your own avatar you'll have to find your own site to host it. Too much mischief can be caused by allowing others to upload their own - I've seen it on a lot of other websites. It just eats up a lot of extra bandwidth for such a small thing.

It's okay about the avatar. Thanks for the upload site VIVI FF. Don't have any other suggestions at the moment

Gondee I'm having a bit of trouble staying logged on... sometimes my account logs off during me writing my posts. What's going on? Does anyone else have this problem?

Haven't heard of that before - you might check your cookie settings on your browser. If I get other complaints it may be a board problem, but to me offhand it sounds like a browser problem. :china Let me know if that helps or doesn't.

I haven't ever had that problem here, but I remember that I did have that same problem at another board I used to visit. Let's see... what the heck did I do to fix it?! Damn, I can't really remember, but I know it went away.
Shoot!!! I wish I could help you out, but it's just not coming to me...... :frusty

How about an Archives forum? Whenever we really have a great topic, I mean like a really, really good topic, when it gets closed down, it should be sent to an Archives forum where it wouldn't get deleted so others can read and remininse of some of our great topics.

Ok well we do have a general section, but its a SSX general section, we should have like a "Whatever Section" were u can talk about anything, cuz right now theres a few topics nothing bout SSX (i.e. Matrix) plus we'd learn bout each other alot faster. :D

A "Chit chat" forum is certainly a possibility, but I'm thinking sometime in the future. In the meantime there's the "Community" topic, so post your random thoughts there. :D
