noob question - what is the point of you doing multiple grabs for your first 3 jumps? Wouldn't you get a higher score by holding your grabs for the full duration like you do with all your other jumps for the rest of the run?

Also at 3:00 you did 4 blackbird flips in a row. At various other times you did blackbird flips in a row. How come they weren't duplicate tricks?

Doing multiple grabs gets your multiplier up to 20x quicker, maximizing your score. The sooner you get it to 20x, the better.

Why does getting x20 faster get you more points?

I thought the only thing the x20 does is take your combo score and multiply it by 20?

For ex. If I do some tricks at x20, and build up 1,000,000 points in the combo, and stop doing tricks. It will cash it in at x20 = 20 million points for that combo.

If my x bonus dropped all the way down to 1 though, the amount of points in my combo would not also go down, it would cash in at x1 and id get 1 million points.

Why would the multiplier affect how much points get added to the combo? I thought the multiplier only came into effect when you cash in a combo.

Nah, the x20 multiplies the amount of points you get from each trick by that much. And you do want to finish your combo at the end of the run with a x20, just so you get the maximized amount of bonus points from your combo.

But otherwise, you want to get to at least x15 as fast as you can at the beginning of your run. Whilst maximizing your score as you go down the mountain from x15 to x20. Doing this method will increase your tricks scores significantly, trust me.

Ahh! I did not know how it worked I just kinda guessed how it worked without knowing any facts cheers! Yeah great run! It's a really hard track with all those creva s s es and ceilings, I was on edge through most of the video like ooooh shit your gonna bail here lol (but you didn't)

I wish someone would post a vidoe of Serenity...with the new best time. The one that is already is 2.53 but thats more than 10sec slower than the best I've seen so far. Heck! Even I can 2.48 So someone is bound to be able to get under 2.40 I think.
