SSX On Tour Weekend?

Has there been any word on EA offering another SSX Weekend for the new game? I wasn't here for the last one but read a lot about it. When did you hear about it last time?

SSX weekend never heard of it I came into the series when Tricky came out so I never heard of EA doing anything special for the game but it would be cool if they did.

I asked gondee the same qusetion and he said there is not SSX On Tour weekend, thats what I know of.....

Damn, I wish there was going to be. It would put a lot of us at ease, I think, to hear gondee and other people come back and say things like "Don't worry, the new Monster Trick system is SICK, I love it, so will you guys" or even "The new system of tricks sucks, but we told them and they are fixing it pronto". Oh well.

Or... you could just wait for the release of the game and find out for yourself. Afterall, you may not like something that someone else does. I mean, I hate just about everything in SSX3, so if I had told you the game is terrible before you ever played it, according to what you're saying, the experience would already be ruined for you.

The SSX3 weekend gave us insight to what the game had to offer. It wasn't so that we could get a one-sided-biased opinion of the game. A couple of us old-school remember what it was about. :pimp

Yeah so would I. And also PD, hopefully gondee or whoever went would come back and tell us about what was in the game, not just their opinion on it. They could be telling us something they really hated about it, and it might sound good to us. I would hope whoever went wouldn't just come back and say "it sucked".

SSX Weekend was when gondee, grandmort, FBX, dolphingirl, happymachines, and Krispy (correct me if there were more) got an invite to EA Canada's studios and got to like test SSX3 and stuff, and tell them how they thought it was.

The e-mail was sent before we left, but he didn't actually check his account until we got back! :heh

But yeah, it totally sucks. I felt really bad for him - I gave him a call and informed him of everything that happened just so he wouldn't be so crushed. :heh

I would have gone except I had passport problems given my suspended license at the time. It would have been murder to try and fill out all the paperwork, so I just didn't go.
