Time Between Players in Races

So I don't have the game yet. Hopefully USPS will deliver it tomorrow but I have seen in the videos that I have watched that the only time in races that you can tell where the other people are is when the time is shown on the screen. Is there a possibility to have the times between you and the other racers shown constantly on the screen next to what place you are in?
