Oh snap! :heh :heh

Really though, I believe That God created the world and he sent his son Jesus to die for our sins and then live again. But shoving your own belief down thoats is not going to help( and the internet is the worst place to do it). I figured along time ago you dont need to be agressive about spreading the gospel, if you live your life by example, you dont need to preach.

Christians and Catholics are very different.

Catholics are Christians :glare

No they aren't you doofus. Christians don't think of Mary as very important, and they believe that The Body only symbolizes Jesus. Catholics are the complete opposite.

What are you a dumbass. Christians are those who believe in God and Jesus as their Saviour. it is a religion. This religion has something called Denominations. These Denominations all have different beliefs. Roman Catholic is a denomination of Christianity just like Protestants. Orthadox, Methodist, Baptist Anglican, I myself am Protestant

My father is a Minister. He is on a councel for the World Councel of Churches which The Roman Catholic Church is a part of just like every other Denomination. My mother has a Doctorit in Theology and is also a Minister. I know how Chirstianity politics work.

Different Christians have very different beliefs but all share the same religion and faith.

MT, This is you getting made an ass of. Pwned is just a more polite way of saying it.

Seriously, Catholics are the opposite of Christians? What were you thinking?

that would be funny

I'm Baptist, though "die hard" may be a stretch. I prefer the Baptist denomination because the preacher teaches from scripture rather than having unvalued beliefs like confession and infant baptism. *may it be noted that I am not Southern Baptist which preaches against dancing and drinking.

Regardless of denomination, Christianity as a whole should soley be valued in believing Jesus to be the son of God who created everything with no other gods to be of existance, accepting Jesus into your heart and professing your faith by way of baptism, repenting of your sins, and sharing God with others without prejudice judgments. Of course, there are many Christians who take it steps too far when they sufficate people with their beliefs. Sharing God with testimony should be enough... it's what Christians call "planting the seed." Then God's gift of free-will shall allow those who are non-believers to be able to make a choice of which path they want to follow.

I'm a Catholic. When I went to Taiwan I was going try Buddhism/Taoism out. But it turns out to be less common than christianity. I went to a Confucious ceremony and was really dissapointed first of all I couldn't understand anything and second of all it was REALLY boring. I had to stand still for a good 5 hours. Fuck That.

Actually, RedTyga, you do believe in a religion, and that is the one of atheism. You don't have any solid proof God does not exist, just as I have none that he does exist, yet you believe that there is no God.

I do believe in God. Don't confuse someone saying they don't believe in religion with not believing in God.

Christianity is built on the acts of a terrorist. That bearded Arab rallied against the government, called for people to live in Communistic fashion (as opposed to the established capitalist society) and declared himself above the law. HIs followers assaulted police officers and soldiers, even mutilating them (one standoff resulted in a soldier losing an ear.

The traitorous bastard was thankfully executed for his crimes.

I don't know if that was a piece of satire, I'll apologize if it was, but if it wasn't...

Jesus told jews to pay taxes. And He didn't declare himself above the law, in fact, He told His followers to live by the law. Yeah, real rebellious against the government. He advocated giving to the poor, but He did not by any means advocate communism in the terms we know of it. Peter drew his sword against a soldier, but only when said soldiers were trying to imprision Jesus for crimes He did not commit. Did I mention that Jesus promptly healed that soldier's ear?

On a side note...

Solid, I've tried to be nice to you. I've complemented you on your vastly improved English, and tried to eliminate any misbeliefs you may of had about the average American or Christian. I've sided with you on things you moan about the church trying to create, such as more censorship, and in fact, I'm pretty sure I've defended you a couple of times. But you won't listen. I bet you won't even read this post. But you know what? I'm pretty sure this forum would be a whole lot better off if we didn't have to deal with you. Don't try and mention how I don't know what it's like, because although you may find it suprising to know, we don't all have perfect lives compared to yours. You're lucky it isn't up to me, because if it were, you would have been banned a long time ago.
