Remember to edit your posts, Kubi.

Nothing to do with those things you say.... It was a 1.72 million run on Crows Nest missed by a nuthair.

What's A Nuthair?
I Thought It Was R&B! That's Why I Mentioned The Score Being Lower Than 2M.

It's an advanced technique Nuth269 perfected. If RE Virus knew how it was done, he'd have the record.

I know how it's done, it's just too hard to do in a good run.

An old 1:11 Throne run:

Post subject:  Re: SSX3 Records

I have gone back to SSX 3 a little bit and played on The Throne a bit to see if I still have it. I am crashing a lot, but just now I ran Throne and got a 2.2 million. That run was accidentally ending my combo at around <300K bring me to 850K or so and then going the rest of the way getting to 2.2 mill and then crashing.

So I think that puts me at a base around 1.7 million, and I finished with about 10 or so seconds to spare, so I'm getting closer to where I was before, although I still haven't finished a run without crashing. I'll be going out of town soon though, so I'll probably lose momentum then when I come back.

Quite the contrary, you'll play much better than last time, I guarantee.

Play just a little bit each time, no more than 30-40 min. It pays off. Quitting at a "high point", altho hard to follow, is another method that always works for every field that requires brain functions related to high coordination.

I'm playing LT every few days for just 15-30 min, and every time I find that the first 10 min are the most productive by far. Every time I miss a few 1.93+ runs either by a few frames or by pulling back an X-X to X-SA. And the more I follow this pattern the closer I see a possible 1.97M score.

Well, I am done playing for a week now, but I had one last playing session this morning before I left and got 1.78 or 1.79 million as a base on Throne with plenty of missed MTs. It was also just short of being my first run without crashes but I crashed 3 jumps from the end. Otherwise I also would have had a 5 million run, which would've been nice, but at least I ended on a pretty high note. :)

Damn ! That was close ! Is it possible to finish in time with this line ? You're 20k over mine run, not including the 40k from the X-SA you turn into X-X (I guess).
Anyway, I'll try it later but I doubt I can do something here.

Possible yes, but over-the-top hard. You need to hit the big jump while still seeing 43 seconds, and you need a perfect last jump (for X-X this means not leaning as far right as in your 1.908 vid; you need an angle of about 20 degrees instead of 40 degrees).

How can an unrealistic game be down to realistic math and science?

The game's engine is made of math and science. Loads of it.

Math is my favourite.
When I was in Year 5, I had to do the Year 6 SATs and I got the 2nd or 3rd best in the whole school.

I am consistently pulling 1.7 million runs on The Throne. I always seem to leave well over 100K in the pipe because of mess-ups still and then consistently mess up at least two jumps down the rest of the run. I guess I just have to keep practicing to see my score continue to improve. I'm pretty sure I'm using essentially the same line I was using before when I got 5.98 with some improvements I gleaned from RE's run, although our runs were nearly the same line.

I keep Messing up X-X in Perpendiculous.
Te first one is good but then the second one often gets 2 backflips, stops for a moment (While I still tap) and does a FS 180.

Keep playing, both of you. You'll get there.

eviltim, the pipe area is key; try to minimize the time you spend on the ground (i.e. stay in the narrowest area). You can start with SA-SA, SA-SA (fairly easy), then all X. I reckon a score of 6.5M is very possible, just as with Happiness and Ruthless. Aim for 6.5 and 6.0 will fall easy.

Played some SSX today and yesterday.

All Peak Race: 19:14 (clean) :pimp

Transition from Intimidator to Ruthless Ridge was terrible, didn't have super uber and wiped out 3 times |: Other than that it was pretty solid.
