Recently my subscription to McAfee VirusScan and FireWall has expired and I have been wanting to get new protection but wanted to check if there was anything free/safe/good to get off a trusted site such as www.download.com of another cnet site. So does anyone have any suggestions. I am looking for something that I won't have to put in a credit card for or renew a subscription.

It doesn't have to come from the sites listed above they were just suggestions...thanks.

I have the free anti-vir system from a magazine, and the normal windows firewall. No big problems with Viruses yet.
