I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Titan, long time Grav member passed away on Saturday from a long battle with colon cancer.

He told me a few years ago that he was battling it, but didn't want to tell anyone as he thought he would be around for a long time. Titan, whose real name was Wade, had been my friend on Facebook and I was able to keep up with him outside of Grav. He had a beautiful family. We had talked about visiting in real life as an ongoing thing, but never really got around to it. When he got sick, he understandably wanted to spend as much time with his family as he could.

I would PM him every once in a while to see how he was doing, and he would always be upbeat about his chances and say never to worry about him. Titan had the nickname here of Gravitude Camp Counselor because he was always the most positive member of the board and probably always will be. The last PM I sent in October 2017 was never answered. I wondered how he was doing and I have my answer now.

I'm sad my friend has passed away, especially finding out about this on Christmas. But I thought everyone should know, because he was a pillar of our small, tight knit community and I will always be glad to have called him friend.

Rest in peace buddy. You will always be in my thoughts. :yes :( :notmyfather

Damn G this is saddening news. I didn't know him as well as you but I played with him a bunch in the SSX 3 days. We'd talk about videos and editing and he was a wiz at them. I really enjoyed his SSX music videos, he had a great insight and ideas to making them more unique. His Mac and Kaori video was simply amazing.
I think I will always look fondly back on the first time we spoke when he jokingly laughed and said to me "Man, Obi you cuss to much."
R.I.P. Titan you were a good dude!

Btw Gondee maybe you could put up some of his videos on the main page.

It's hard for me to find the right words, since Titan was such an amazing person in so many ways. He was an energetic sprout of positive energy on this forum, that would always cheer others up and never back down when people were mocking others.

I will remember him mostly from our lovely video "rivalry" that was going on during the pre-release time of SSX On Tour. Every time EA released a new trailer for the game, me and Titan would get on working on our next fan trailer. Both of us created a dozen of them and posted them here on the Grav Bar for everyone to enjoy, and they got very popular. Even though it wasn't a pure rivalry, we were still pushing each other and encouraging one another to create the best fan trailer.

I wish his family the best and sends them my most sincere condolences.

Rest in peace, man.

I had no idea. Very saddened to hear this. I knew him for his great taste in music. We kept the What Are You Currently Listening To thread alive for a good while. Always been such an optimistic guy. I will miss him. RIP, friend.

Bloody hell, that is rough. I don't believe we interacted very much but he always seemed to be one of the liveliest people here. Really crazy to think that he was that lively while going through all that. I hope his family are doing okay. RIP.

Not exactly the news I wanted to see when lurking around. This is very sad indeed. I was just recently thinking how he was doing since hes on my XBL friends and he shows up as a driveatar on Forza Motorsport (an AI racer of his) May he rest in peace.

This saddens me so much. Rest in peace Titan.

However it warms my heart to see so many old timers, who still care about Titan dropping in to this thread to pay their respects. That means something.

RIP Titan, you're a legend.

It's been so long since I've been here; it's very eerie to hear this news. It makes me sad we've lost one of this community's best people.

I have fond memories of Tricky and Titan's fan trailer battles, and I remember being blown away by Titan's dedication and creativity.

Rest in power!

Rest in peace Titan, the fact that you have earned the respect and love of many here has automatically granted you mine.
