when i look at a thread title on the front page and know it's a khalpz thread

I wear slipper socks and boots in the winter and open-toe shoes in the summer. Problem solved. :lol

@Kalphz. The key is getting socks that get over your calves. Because of the bulge that the calf muscle forms, it can keep the sock up.

Tricky's right Khalpz.

And from a lifetime of wearing dress socks, I can tell you from experience - look for the type of socks with the lighter fabric, almost like silk. Those almost act like pantyhose, and you gotta peel that stuff off your legs. Don't worry about those falling down. And yes, they are men's dress socks, and you can't tell from far away they're any different from your standard wool dress sock.

Honestly, I've got frickin' bird legs and I've never had to worry about dress socks sliding down my legs. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
