I NEED to catch up with Penny Dreadful. I've seen ep 1 and loved it, recorded the rest with Sky so just a case of finding the time to watch!

Watched the first ep of the new season of True Blood.

Didn't take long for me to want to smack Sookie in the face and tell her to grow the fuck up. Yeah you can read thoughts, that sucks, but you then go and put yourself in danger by walking home alone and chucking your phone away? You a stupid hoe.

That's what I did with Penny Dreadful, watched the first ep and recorded the rest. I really need to force myself to sit and watch it already.

Penny Dreadful is just crazy.. good Vix!!

Also caught up on Season 2 of Devious Maids, such a delightful show :D

I watched three eps of it last night and it was phenomenal. I have three more to watch and then the season finale on Sunday. It was really good.

EDIT: Ok, all caught up. And I have to say...holy fricken hell...this show is so good. It's all over the place in terms of twists and who is what and god only knows. Can't wait for the finale on Sunday.

Can't wait for the season finale either! Gonna be so epic! Wanna discover Murray's secret ^^

Also discovered Falling Skies, that's a good post-apocalypse show :thumbsup

I watched the Penny Dreadful finale last night. I kind of thought it was a bit underwhelming as quite a few of the "revelations" I half expected. Like Brona's fate and Mina's fate and what Ethan is and some others. Still though, it was good and season 2 should be pretty interesting.

Watched Penny Dreadful finale yesterday evening, was a good one, even though i can't wait to see what is going to happen on Season 2 - if there is one planned :heh -

Also watched True Blood ep 2, was kinda shocked, this finale season is going to be bad, real real bad, i think :/

Just watched True Blood. The end of the last episode just makes me think UGH about the entire season now. He was the one interesting, most loved, brilliantly written, fantastically acted character.

You're pretty much killing him off?

GJ HBO.

right now I'm catching up on some Orange is the New Black (It's kind of a guilty pleasure show for me :heh ) if you can get past the nudity and very crude scenes it's actually a pretty good show :thumbsup

Sun Jul 06, 2014 4:02 pm

Well i'm happy cause most of my favorite shows are starting again: Witches of East End now, and Waker, i might watch Orange is the new Black too, a good friend of mine told me it was great :thumbsup

Also regarding True Blood,

Click to reveal hidden content: show
that "French" character did not sound French at all, and i am kinda shocked for Alcide...

Witches of East End s2 looks darker too... i like it :D

Wed Jul 09, 2014 8:18 pm

I have watched over 15 episodes of parks and recreation in the last two days and I am not ashamed

Thu Jul 17, 2014 4:19 pm

Ok i might check then City hehe, as it seems we have the same tastes :D

Devious Maids S2 just ended, damn the finale could not end like that :dead :cry

I m kinda meh regarding the finale season of True Blood, not much happening....

Fri Jul 18, 2014 1:42 am

welp, finished S2 of Orange is the New Black and what can I say it's actually pretty damn good. now I just gotta wait and see if they get renewed for a third season :thumbsup

Mon Jul 21, 2014 2:12 pm

Witches of East End season 2 is much better than the first one, it's totally darker... i like it :D best witchy show since Charmed :heh

Finally synced with the US on Falling Skies, love that Sci-Fi show :china

:/

Even though I'm probably part of the problem by not watching it. :lol

Noooooo! We failed them, vix! :cry

Wed Jul 23, 2014 10:32 pm

The odd part about that is it's been renewed for a fourth season so pulling the episodes doesn't make much sense in a way.

Hmmmm.

I've done a bit of reading. Seems like Nick has not been handling this season well in terms of airing and marketing. Shame. Since it's going digital, I hope Nick puts up the S2 and other S3 episodes.

Thu Jul 24, 2014 11:10 pm

I haven't been reading too much about it. Maybe if they put s2 up online somewhere, I might actually finally watch it.

Though, I've had a post it here on my keyboard for months now telling me to watch Hamlet so yeah...who knows. :lol I've even had to replace the post it a few times now. :heh

Fri Jul 25, 2014 10:33 pm

:lol :lol omg I know, I shouldn't even say I'd watch it at this point.

Sat Jul 26, 2014 12:39 pm

Well, the final season of True Blood went to shit very quickly.

Somewhere at HBO some guy is sat there going NOPE, LOST ALL MY FUCKS FOR THIS SHOW EIGHT MONTHS AGO.

Mon Aug 11, 2014 11:42 am

3 eps left of True Blood, so weird, i remember when i watched the first episode of s1 :heh

Witches of East End is getting real dark,

Yesss and Platinum is making it!! :D I haven't looked at any gameplay yet, though.

Mon Aug 11, 2014 8:47 pm

I haven't looked at the game much since I'm two seasons behind. *doh* I will catch up at some point.

Speaking of catching up, I FINALLY watched all of Season 2 of In The Flesh last night. I enjoyed it it. I thought it was a great second season that expanded on the first (since the first was only three eps). They left it open for a third and I really hope it gets a third. Anyone else watch this is show or is this another one where I'm the only one who's watching it? :lol I know zombies are a bit played out at the moment but I find this to be enjoyable. PDS suffers, not zombies. Rotters is the derogatory term in the show. :lol Partially deceased syndrome. Those that rose from their graves during the rising were caught and rehabilitated to rejoin a society that doesn't really want them around at all.

So I manged to clear that off of my dvr in time for the onslaught of Doctor Who stuff starting in a week. A new show, Intruders, is on after the DW premiere. I've been seeing commercials for it for months now. It has some actors in it I like and it's been created by someone from The X-Files so I'm probably going to check that out too. The premise is interesting too so that helps. Anyone going to watch that on the 23rd?

So excited for the new season of Doctor Who. Less than two weeks. This upcoming weekend also sees the fourth installment of The Real History of Sci Fi along with the Doctor Who: The Ultimate Companion show which I think aired in the UK around the time of the 50th anniversary. The actors will actually be in the city (NYC) later this week at the Ziegfeld Theater.

So all that's left on the DVR is a movie for mom (The Normal Heart), The Escape Artist for mom, and some Top Gear. :lol
