The new eyes make him look a bit cross-eyed but I think all in all he's OK. I also defined his chin a little bit better so it doesn't blend in with his hair.

Looks good to me Granola. The consistency issue on smilies is very important, as our smilies have to have the same theme. Hobo Nate looks great now that he has the same eyes as the rest of the smilies!

Keep in mind you can change his eyes a bit if you'd like (color, position), but they must have the same basic type of face/eyes if you'd like me to use them on the board.

Do you mind if I change your first post into a mini-list of the smileys we have so far?

Filip, those are cool, but I don't think we can use them. It would just be too many smilies to take all the On Tour art and turn it into smilies, so we should concentrate on smilies of the characters only.

Hey Titan, Nate's not bad, but I like Hobo Nate a little better. Do you have a problem with us using Granola's Nate?

Granola, I like Winking Skye - do you think you might be able to change her eye color a bit and maybe add a little face color as well? Take a look at the SSX 3 smilies (like Marisol) to get a good idea. I know I listed that face as a basic template, but skin color can be modified a tad if you'd like.

Okay you guys...first off, be easy on me cause I'm in no way an artist! I just really wanted to try to make an On Tour Zoe Smiley...and, well...it took me forever to get it to where I liked it, and had to redo the thing a few times because of it getting messed up in saving. So...here's my attempt (click on the image to view it on a white background if you want to see the hair detail a bit better):

It was hard to make her hair...and I was basing it off the character art we got of her...and since she's turned to the side...a full on front view of her face with that hairdo wouldn't work. Anyway...my best shot... :heh

EDIT: her face is a bit smaller isn't it... :shrug

...oh well.

thats pretty awesome GD! your rite about being able to see the detail better on a white background. on white it looks super duper awesome!! i luv the lil red chopsticks in her hair!! :china

Thanks. I won't have any time to make anything or come here over the next week or so, so I just wanted to post everything I had right away.

Yeah it's really hard to produce good smileys in Paint. :heh

I tried at work once, didn't go well. For as tiny as the smilies are, I always use Photoshop to draw them.
