That's amazing. They even changed the voice actress because this version of Kaori (Yuri) speaks Korean.

So I got a hold of the Korean version of SSX Tricky and immediately noticed some differences: - The female announcer voice is re-done by a Korean voice actress, however some voice lines on the title screen are in "Engrish" (bad English). - Kaori is initially selected instead of Eddie, but her name was changed to "Yuri". - Some of the text is still in English, but the font is completely different. - The Circle and X buttons are swapped in menus, just like Japanese PS2 games. If you have it, check it out. I like playing games in other languages, especially Japanese and Korean. |

I meant to post after you uploaded this - thank you! It is so interesting they changed Kaori's name to Yuri in Korea. I wonder if that was done using the same reason they changed Mac to Marty in Europe - some sort of name that would fit the region better. |
