So I accidentally stumbled upon this, but it seems like there's a snowboarding game for the ipad coming out soon (it was just submitted today, so it'll take 1-2 weeks for apple to accept it) called Summit X Snowboarding (supposedly named by people that liked the page a month ago). Seems pretty interesting and if you own an ipad, it could prove to be a nice portable time-consumer while we wait for the new SSX (obviously not at par with the SSX game we're waiting for, but it's another snowboarding series looking for it's chance to shine). If anyone gets it, please share info/opinions of it?

It looks very open mountain, and definitely more realistic looking that Snowboard Hero on the iTouch. I wonder if there will be any tricks...

Thanks for noticing us Kav! We hope just to get the game out, but it would be great if we actually become a "series" one day. Game play is very "open mountain" and you are able to go all over the place within certain bounds. Yes, we have tricks. But not to copy SSX, we didn't put in anything over the top....yet :P We also delayed launching to try to get it to run on old iOS and Android devices. Like us on Facebook to keep up to date on our progress.

I saw the gameplay vid, I does look incredibly realistic for a mobile and handheld game, I'll definitely look into getting a hold of it.

Haha OH SNAP.

That gameplay video is pretty gnarly. If you guys are working on getting it to work on the ipod touch 2nd gen I'll give it a try :P

2nd gen? I don't even know if they'll be getting it for the 4th gen, it would work out that way for me.

That's really awesome since I just bought an Ipad. Well, It's a knock-off IPad but I will beef it up soon. The graphics are insane and I read lots of reviews for that game. I will def. be checking it out soon enough.

SummitX Snowboarding is now available in the Apple App Store and Google Android Market, with even more stuff than has been posted here in the past.

I bought it for a buck on itunes. The gameplay is good for whats its on and comparred to what else is out there. I haven't gotten to play a whole lot yet but what I have played was decent. It all has seemed point based so far, but I hope the events I haven't unlocked yet have some races too.
