I saw him racing on Salient today. I came in with a 1:08 ... and I thought that was 'ok'. When the results came up - he had 58".
Now, I have seen people get 45" on this drop but using an 'exploit' of which I don't entirely approve (cuz I can never get it right)
However - he didn't use that.
I tried to copy his line but it was hopeless. I couldn't nail it. I expect if I'd sat there for another 3 hours I might have struck it lucky but I don't do that anymore

Strange thing is - he's not much good at trick it at all ... and I don't think he's all that on a board..... / just goes to show / it's a funny old world etc

I know... I would give anything for some wingsuit skills. Recently I have been practicing wingsuit for my new project I am working on (single segment speedrun of the World Tour) and it really dawned on me how bad I am. See I'm trying to finish the World Tour as fast as possible, no rules like no wingsuit. But I'm only really using it at places like curnoes tree and death zone. It is sad because I don't even have enough skill to make faster times than I can make without the wingsuit on most tracks, and I think how long I've been playing this game and I still can't blumin wingsuit!

Thanks minn. I think it is out of reach that I would ever be able to get consistent enough to knock out all the world tour races using Xedec lines. So I am just going to do it my own way the best I can and see how fast I can do it! This should be fun. Can't wait to get some attempts in (I am downloading digital SSX at the moment! woohoo!).

I'm by no means an expert on the w/s. When I first got the game I avoided it.... I was hopeless. Then I saw some Code Blue 00:50 youtube vids and I thought "I wanna do that". So I sat down one morning and just kept flying Code Blue, over and over again, for about 4 hours. That did it. I found it pretty easy since... but as I say - I'm no expert.
I have bad habits... for instance ... I note that Xedec sometimes flies an entire drop without getting into tricky once.
Now - with me - I always like to get into tricky .... cus I like to get boost on a piece of flat ground, say, before launching. I don't think you actually have to do this at all ... its just a bad habit I can't break.
