With the new trailer that we've seen for SSX: Blur, we see that the atrocity known as slow-mo is still in the game. The only person with the power to change this is Gondee.

So please gondee, PLEASE email whatever connections you have and request that this feature be made able to be toggled on and off.

If that's one thing that totally drags down the game, beyond the recycling and chibi theme...

that camera shit has got to go. Beyond the fact that sot sucked in general, it wouldn't have sucked as much if it wasn't for the camera. sure it would have still sucked furry testes, at least you would have been able to see those furry ones before you crashed into them

Ditch the monster cam!!

We don't know enough about the game yet to have me go off on some urgent quest to request changes in a still-developing game. We don't even have a release date at this point.

Howsabout you just take a deep breath and give it some time - a word from me might not even cause EA to do anything at all. To be honest, I'd be surprised if they even batted an eye at it, especially after I wrote them several outrageously long "warning" e-mails before during the develpment of On Tour, and nothing happened - I don't have some magic bullet to fix what we think might be a problem, just an open ear to a rep from EA if they deem it urgent enough to listen. :china

=______= ugh...chibi theme >_<

That....sucks...

I am 100% sure that I suggested the name "SSX: Blur both here, on these boards, and in that survey. It was shot down by all the MC.com members.

Don't care what the name of it is. As long as they respected my idea of the opening of the game being a Dallas "shower scene" parody, therefore dismissing On Tour, then I'll be fine.

I don't understand this, doesn't EA know that everyone hated that stupid slow motion monster trick thing? This looks like OT all over again.

I still have my fingers crossed for that. I still say psymon should wake up with a drema bubble of sot saying, "what a nightmare!"

I never thought EA would be stupid enough to not allow us to turn off the slow-mo in SOT. But I was wrong. If they do it again I swear to every god known to man that I'll never buy an EA product again. There's no excuse whatsoever to impose the horrors of slow-mo or camera panning on us again.

Well, wait, I'm not getting a Wii anyway... :heh

I was considering getting one for SSX, i mean, I did get a psp just for mmk(but ended up with more games)...but now I'm even more split than before.

I don't think I could take playing another game with that lame camera. It totally ruined the experience.

And wasn't something wrong with the scoring system in OT too? I don't really care much about the new SSXs so long as they are compete-able.

And I just remembered that OT completely lost the kick ass replay system, wtf? Bring it back you morons.

Replays, online, a better thought out racing and slopestyle system(not the screwy one from sot), more types of venues(ie. big air, slopestyle, racing, slalom[maybe], etc), original character voices, characters from ssx3 and not the sot versions...

EA kept it because 4/5 people who play video games are not smart. In order to attract them, they add in effects that have been whored out for 5+ years. So, those four out of five kids pick up the game, then they say, "Omgzors matrix fx must buy" and "lol I want to be a rockstar" And then they make the game incredibly easy so they don't have to learn anything with controls. Just push left ftw.

SSX OT was for the kids with grade point averages under 1.

-end rant-

Actually no just kidding. I'll keep going.

I really hate EA's decisions, lately. They are lacking creativity. SSX:OT stole a style that sucked to begin with, and then made it worse. When you watch the making for SSX: Tricky, you see how much effort was put into it, and how hard they worked to make the game have the certain feeling and originality. And they really accomplished it.

Then EA went retarded. How do you go from SSX Tricky and SSX3 being so great, to SSX OT to being so bad. Who had the great idea to take out voice actors, cut the frame rate, lower the amount of tricks, put other skiiers/snowboarders on the mountain to get in your way, dull the graphics, everything. Was there anything in SSX:OT that was positive? Nothing was original. It was all taken straight out of a Transworld Snowboarding magazine and put into a videogame. "Let's go snowboarding and become RAWKSTARS!"

A year has gone by and I am still ranting about SSX:OT...

SSX was made for adults.
SSX Tricky was made for adults and teenagers.
SSX 3 was made for teenagers and children.
SSX On Tour was made for children and babies.

Don't take this seriously.

The dumbasses who paid £179 for the wii? So they can just wave their arms around instead of being able to master a controller properly?

Oh wait. :/ Joni already said it Children and Babies.

Blur is the game for casual gamers that would only play the game for a while or until they got frustrated.
