I think its possible to jump over the breakable ice that leads to the cave. I havent tried this but you might be able to use the cannon to jump over it.

Thought I'd post to help show the selects. I've raced this exact line down to 1:08.37 but there's another couple things that will produce a low 1:07 and most likely 1:06 in time. I equate this to a 1:59-2:00 Snowjam run so not really wrecking anyone's fun, only trying to increase the comp here since there are selects required to compete. The line is no mystery now, though there is a nice little tweak there.

Actually a sloppy run hitting my head and slow through the last fence area, but good enough to help get it started.

Higher Learning Double - 1:08

:pimp run igloo..

I actually like racing in this game for some reason. Even though I probably still won't be able to keep up with many of you, racing is definitely enjoyable. Example of igloo's run, I would not have thought of all of those areas. Maybe because I haven't invested enough time into the game as of yet..

This was by no means a "best run" as I'm not showing all the cards. :) Posted this more just to show the basic idea with selects and to level the playing field a bit. I can also get to the last fence rail nearly 1.5 seconds faster and "over" the fence about a full second faster to the last select area. Everything done right, we're looking at mid to high 1:06.

here's a 1:08 HL run that shows what i've been doing..i usually get to the last select a half sec to a sec faster on this run allowing to select at low to mid 1:01. but i rarely get the last select so this is good enough :heh

1:20 with that line? it would have to be a damn near perfect run to hit that with my line :heh

4 million on a single event?! Wow man, how did you do that?! :eek :eek That must've been in the Big Show Slopestyle, right?

Well, I don't think it matters what age you are...
When I was 13, I could hit 2 million at tracks on SSX Tricky without even knowing there were SSX scoreboards or master runs in existance, a 13 year old can do just as good at video games as a 14+ year old...

How sub-1:20 Igloo? Like 1:19, or even lower?

More like 1:19.99. :heh It is a goal of mine as one run I was very close but totally screwed the ending getting hung up in the speakers and rail area, but still hit 1:23.55. It will take some time to hit as I'm still trying to get under 1:22.

3 key areas. The fall during the shortcut of course, the jump across the ice area, and then the turn on the endnig. Ice lost nearly 3 seconds on his ending in the master run. I realize this wasn't his best turn.

Tip: Aim way right when jumping across the ice area and never touch that log rail on the right. Hit it just right and you gain about 2 seconds.

yeah my ending on that run was pathetic :heh got like more air then you would get in a halfpipe. aim right into the jump or take the path to the right in the ice area?...hate that ice area btw. 2 secs is massive..i'll work on it. :yes

Nice run there ice , if not abit rough. I can see where igloo gets 1:24- on that track now, when you wiped out i never knew you could go through there, usually i carry on and get over the jump and then take the rail that goes on the announcer boards with lighting. that usually gives me 1:29 on a perfect run. :heh

Great run :china
